Need to know your Hogwarts house? Well, Facebook has the answer!

Our Hogwarts house is what defines us as a Harry Potter fan. Well, not really, but it is important and now Facebook is sorting everyone!

If you ever wanted an arbitrary way to see what your Hogwarts house is, we have the thing for you! You can now type in H-O-G-W-A-R-T-S.com and get sorted into your favorite house! Or not. You could be like me and get sorted into Slytherin and mumble “that’s wrong” to yourself too.

We don’t know why it does it, but it is fun! Even if I didn’t get my house. Now, don’t get too upset about what it sorts you in. It’s Facebook. It just picks a house and puts you in it and that’s it. And as Harry Potter fans, we know that that isn’t how sorting works.

So take this sorting with a grain of salt. You’re still the Gryffindor you always were before. But now, you have this weird Facebook algorithm to tell you that you’re a Gryffindor. Honestly, it is just a great thing for Potter fans.

For a lot of us, anything that has to do with the series is fun and when it is something like this that we don’t understand, it’s even better! A mystery is very on brand for our favorite series. But maybe that’s just the design of the H-O-G-W-A-R-T-S.com site.

But to make it easier for you, just type it in as a comment on something and it’ll load for you. That way you can easily delete it if it’s not to your liking (like I did when I got Slytherin).
