Trust me. You need a man you can rely on when the zombie apocalypse happens. Preferably, you’ll find you one who can handle a firearm, knows his way around a blunt instrument and has a basic working knowledge of rural agriculture.

Rick Grimes obviously has all of these things, but he also maintains his rugged good looks despite how few showers, shaves or haircuts he gets. I like a low-maintenance man, and he seems like he wouldn’t need so little tending to. He’s not the kind of man who demands the fancy shampoo or the certain pair of socks. His sex appeal is so raw and unabated, he doesn’t need fancy things like deodorant or laundry detergent. He’s getting more action in a post-apocalyptic world then some men get in their entire 20s, and he doesn’t even care if he’s been wearing the same shirt for 5 years. You better just deal with it. But why wouldn’t you? Have you seen those filth-covered biceps or that jawline hidden under that scraggly beard?

Of course, I can’t vouch for how much Rick’s desirability would hold up in a world where we still have all our modern conveniences. I definitely wouldn’t be able to take him to my cousin’s wedding and you can just forget about brunch. But it’s a trade off.
