Katy Perry claims “Swish, Swish” is nothing more than an anti-bullying anthem but during a concert on Monday, she may have accidentally confirmed that the song is actually a diss track against Taylor Swift.

On June 12, after publicly apologizing to Swift, Perry changed a couple of the lyrics to the song and replaced them with lyrics similar to a statement she made about Swift just days prior.

Instead of the original lyrics of, “Don’t you come for me / No, not today,” Perry sang, “God bless you on your journey / Oh, baby girl.”

Katy Perry spoke of Taylor Swift during an interview with the ‘Today’ show

A short time prior, as Us Weekly magazine revealed to readers on June 13, Perry had been asked about Swift, her alleged inspiration for “Swish, Swish,” and told the Today show, “God bless her on her journey.”

Perry also spoke of her feud with Swift during a chat with Arianna Huffington over the weekend.

“I forgive [Swift] and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her,” she said on Saturday, June 10. “I think it’s … time. There are bigger fish to fry, and there are real problems in the world. … I love her, and I want the best for her.”

What is Taylor Swift saying?

Following a number of interviews in wish Perry discussed Swift, a friend of the country singer’s told Us Weekly magazine that fans shouldn’t expect to see her react.

“She honestly wants no part of this, that’s why she avoids talking about it,” said the friend. “She doesn’t want to engage.”
