Taylor Swift Net Worth: Singer Dethroned As Forbes’ Highest Paid Entertainer

Taylor Swift was Forbes’ highest paid celebrity in 2016 with a whopping $170 million dollar paycheck but one year later, she’s fallen to the 49th spot with just $44 million.

Although $44 million is certainly worth bragging about, it wasn’t nearly enough to top Sean “Diddy” Combs, who raked in around $130 million due to his tour, Ciroc partnership, and the partial sale of his fashion line.

Trailing Combs in the second spot was Beyonce, whose Formation World Tour and Lemonade album granted her $105 million.

According to US 99 on June 12, J.K Rowling of Harry Potter fame and rapper Drake came in third and fourth with $95 million and $94 million, respectively.

Taylor Swift has ties to other members of the highest paid entertainers club

Also ahead of Swift was soccer player Cristiano Ronald, who rounded out the top 5 with a yearly earning of $93 million. As US 99 revealed, Swift’s best friend Selena Gomez’s boyfriend, musician The Weeknd, tied Ronaldo and also starred on the cover of the Forbes issue.

Ten spots behind Swift was Kyle Jenner, who with her role on Keeping up with The Kardashians, her many endorsements, and her super successful Kylie Cosmetics line came in at 59th and was the youngest member of the list at just 19-years-old.

What’s next for Taylor Swift?

Currently, as she juggles her new romance with her career, Swift is in the midst of producing a new album. That said, no official release date has been announced and it is unclear whether or not a tour will coincide with the upcoming release.
