Many cities fly the rainbow flag with pride during June. Facebook has a rainbow reaction. Celebrate Pride Month with these special promotions.

June is Pride Month. June was chosen as a remembrance of the Stonewall Riots. In 1969, demonstrators took to New York streets to protest the raid at Stonewall Inn, a gay bar in Greenwich Village. The event marked the first large scale demonstration for gay rights. In 2000, President Bill Clinton was the first U.S. President to officially recognize Pride Month.

Throughout the U.S., many cities have pride celebrations throughout June. From city parades to special events, communities rally around the LGBTQ community. Several hotels throughout the nation offer Pride Month promotions.
