Fantastic Beasts actors tweet words of caring to London after attack

Thoughts and prayers were sent to London after an attack this weekend from the cast of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

The core four in Fantastic Beasts – Newt, Tina, Jacob, and Queenie – seem just as endearingly sweet and close together in real life as their characters are. In the movie, they seemed to become best friends very quickly, the way children do, and whenever they appear on camera together they can barely suppress their giggles at being with each other, and tear up at shared moments.

Eddie, Katherine, Dan, and Alison seem to truly love each other. Yesterday, Alison and Dan teamed up for a serious moment, to send words of comfort to people in the UK after the van attack on London Bridge:

And Dan replied:

Actors from Harry Potter and the Cursed Child also shared each other’s tweets for London.

Noma Dumezweni, who just finished her role as Hermione in Cursed Child, tweeted.

And Miss Noma shared this tweet from fellow CC actor Tom Milligan. Tom played young James Potter I, James Potter II, and Cedric Diggory.

Meanwhile, JK Rowling tweeted bracing messages like this response to  a New York Times tweet:

Fantastic Beasts has such a strong message of kindness and decency. It looks like J.K Rowling has helped create another acting family just as caring and sweet as the Potter film actors.

Next: Sirius Black is my favorite character and I just want to talk about him

Love to all our UK friends.
