Taylor Swift was reportedly approached about a potential performance at the upcoming Manchester benefit concert.

While the singer has not yet been confirmed for the upcoming show, a Twitter post earlier this week claimed she and Lady Gaga, along with other acts including Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus, had been contacted in hopes of having them sign on.

Taylor Swift shared a tweet of support after the Manchester attack earlier this month

Following the devastating attack in Manchester, Swift, who was believed to have been in London with her rumored boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, at the time of the incident, shared a post on Twitter about the tragedy.

Will Taylor Swift and Katy Perry perform at the same event?

While one might hope that the two women would set their differences aside in honor of the lives lost, there has not yet been any confirmation that they will both appear at the benefit and a joint appearance seems unlikely.

Although there is certainly a slight possibility that both women could appear at the show, Swift is currently keeping a low profile as she works on her new album and reportedly focuses on her private life with Alwyn.
