According to a recent report from Chron, Forbes has released its official list of the nation’s richest self-made women and in addition to Oprah, Beyonce, Madonna, and Celine Dion, Swift made it onto the annual list for 2017.

While Oprah, not surprisingly, landed in the top spot with a net worth of $3.1 billion, Swift also made into the top 10 at number 9 with an estimated net worth of $280 million.

In July of last year, In Style magazine claimed Swift had made a whopping $80 million in 2014, when she released her 1898 album and embarked on a world tour, and an even more impressive $170 million from 2015 to 2016.

As she remains out of the spotlight, Swift is reportedly working on a new album.

“Taylor made the conscious choice to disappear,” a source explained to People magazine earlier this month. “She was feeling overexposed and like things were almost spiraling out of control. She’s being low-key and secretive [right now] because it makes her happy.”
