Honest Trailer reaction for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
If you haven’t heard of the Honest Trailer series from YouTube users Screen Junkies, the Fantastic Beasts one is the perfect place to start!
I will be the first one to say that I absolutely loved the movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I loved it so much that if you tried to tell me there was anything wrong with it, even if you were right, I would disagree with you to no end. But clearly I’m not the only one.
The Box Office
While this didn’t have the same doubling and tripling numbers at the box office like the Harry Potter franchise, it still did quite well. But it isn’t over yet! The sequel is being worked on as you read! The plan is to have five installments total. Whether or not this is actually achieved, all depends on how the movies continue to do at the box office.
Screen Junkies
The crew behind the channel hit YouTube six years ago. They burst onto the internet scene with some comedic sketches of celebrity interview parodies. The videos didn’t do bad at all, but they hadn’t gone viral yet. Then about a year after joining, they came out with their first Honest Trailer. Not only was it hilarious in it’s own right, but they did it for The Phantom Menace. Because really, who can go wrong with Star Wars? The video now has over 9 million views!
Seems like they figured out what their audiences wanted because they continued the series. They went on to do them for several huge blockbusters. From Twilight to Titanic these guys are racking up the subscribers with their sarcastic take on the movies.
They aren’t afraid to take their own take on any and all movies. But they also know how to pick fun at themselves, showing what good sports they are. They have now hit over 6 million subscribers!
