Episode 13: Titus confesses to Mikey

Was anyone else absolutely devastated when Titus and Mikey broke up? They were adorable together! I thought for sure after all the lemonading, they’d stick it out for awhile but alas. Yet season 3 continued to insert Mikey in not-so-subtle ways to remind Titus of what he’d lost. After 11 episodes of hardcore denying he didn’t want Mikey back, Titus finally uses the power of song to confess his love for his ex…right in front of Mikey’s new boyfriend. Whew, talk about awkward for that guy.

How does Mikey feel about it? At least for now, for the viewers, it doesn’t matter. We’ll get back to him later. But Titus has a new goal: win back his love. And that’s going to require dropping a lot of old Titus nonsense, like all that acting and pretending he didn’t really care. He’s going to have to be selfless, but also terribly selfish in a new way. Does anyone else predict that this may ultimately end up in Titus actually letting Mikey go to be happy with the other guy? I’m not sure my heart could handle it. Even if he does tend to step on others a lot, Titus deserves oodles more happiness out of life than he’s currently being served.
