Is Taylor Swift responsible for getting Ariana Grande back to The States safely after Monday’s attack at her Manchester concert?

On May 23, the Daily Mail shared photos of Grande and her mother, Joan, arriving in their hometown of Boca Raton, Florida where Grande’s musician boyfriend, Mac Miller, was waiting with several others.

“[Ariana Grande] made her way back home with a little help from Taylor Swift, who lent Ariana her private plane so that she could make a quick return to the [United States],” the outlet revealed to readers.

Are Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande friends?

Over two years ago, Swift and Grande served together as performers at the 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. However, when it comes to a friendship, it’s unclear how close they are, if they’re close at all.

That said, Grande expressed interest in joining Swift’s girl squad just one year ago.

“Do you have to do anything weird to get in?” she asked during an interview with Capital FM, via E! News. “All those girls are really nice… I would just be so down.”

What’s the truth to the rumor?

While Swift and Grande haven’t commented on the reports regarding Grande’s possible use of Swift’s plane, a TMZ report claimed hours ago that Swift was not involved in Grande’s trip back home.

“Ariana Grande is back on U.S. soil, but Taylor Swift was not involved in the flight that got her here,” the outlet explained. Instead, “Ariana’s tour promoter Live Nation and her manager, Scooter Braun, split the PJ bill, 50/50.”
