Taylor Swift Dedicates Her First Tweet In Four Months To Manchester Victims
Taylor Swift returned to Twitter on May 22 for the first time in four months.
Following the tragic news of the attack in Manchester on Monday night, Swift sent her condolences to the victims and their families.
“My thoughts, prayers and tears for all those affected by the Manchester tragedy tonight. I’m sending all my love,” she wrote.
Swift is one of the many celebrities who have tweeted about the terrifying turn of events, which occurred at the Manchester Arena as Ariana Grande’s concert came to an end and took the lives of 22 people.
Several victims have still not been located
As the investigation continues into the man behind the devastating attack, several Twitter users have been sharing photos in hopes of finding their friends and loved ones. In recent hours, several people have been located but there are still people who continue to tweet about those who remain missing.
Taylor Swift may have been in London at the time of the attack
When a man reportedly threw a bomb inside the Manchester Arena, Swift may have been just four hours away in London. As The Sun revealed to readers earlier this month, Swift has been secretly dating British actor Joe Alwyn for the past few months and spends tons of her time in England.
“Taylor has flown in via private jets and her security has made it a military-like mission to prevent her from being seen,” a source told the outlet. “She’s been walking around with Joe in London using disguises, like scarves and hats, to keep her identity under wraps. Nobody has a clue they’ve been walking past a music superstar – not even her new neighbours.”
