10 reasons why Steve Trevor is the best superhero sidekick

4. He’s funny

From what we can see in the animated movie and in the trailer for Wonder Woman, Steve Trevor is a pretty funny guy. Not only does he crash land on an island full of women, but he has his wits about him as he does it.

Steve doesn’t seem to let the situation get him down and he cracks jokes and makes you, the audience, just so happy to watch him go through these crazy moments. In a scene released that isn’t from Warner Brothers, we see Steve using the Lasso of Truth to prove to Diana that he is telling the truth to her.

The best part about the entire scene is how funny Steve is. He is trying to prove a point but also admits to how much trouble they’re really in and it just brings some light hearted comedy to the film. And apparently that’s not the only time he brings the comedic elements to it.

But we’re not exactly sure where else Steve Trevor is funny. You’ll just have to wait for the movie to come out and see just how funny Steve is for yourself. But if he’s anything like the trailers, we’re in for one funny ride.
