10 reasons why Steve Trevor is the best superhero sidekick

10. Diana carries him like a bride

I’m going to get very real and personal with this one because in all of comic book history, this is the one thing I love most of all. For those who don’t know or haven’t read the comics, on occasion, Diana will carry Steve Trevor like a bride.

Now that probably sounds like an okay thing to have happen but let’s just stop and think about it for a minute. Steve gets carted around like this is his wedding night and his wife needed  to carry him over the threshold. The best part? He doesn’t care.

That’s right folks, Steve Trevor is the kind of man who doesn’t mind that his woman is the stronger one in the relationship. Diana is his angel and he is her beloved and they just love each other despite the fact that most superhero relationships don’t work out.

But really, isn’t the best part of these relationships that one has no powers and the other has to save them all the time? It’s even better when the man is the one without the powers! But yes, the best part of any comic book story around is the fact that Steve gets carried around by Diana like a bride. And don’t  fight me on this, I’m right.
