Taylor Swift’s 2017 sightings have been few and far between and when it comes to tonight’s Billboard Music Awards, an appearance seems unlikely.

As fans take in the sights of the annual awards show, many are wondering if the “Wildest Dreams” singer will show face. Unfortunately, however, as Swift continues work on her new album, Romper suspects she will not be seen at tonight’s show.

“Much like the star’s Instagram page, which is usually rife with picturesque forays into the singer-songwriter’s life, yet has been pretty quiet recently, it seems as though Swift won’t be showing up at the BBMA’s tonight after all,” the outlet told readers on May 21.

Taylor Swift holds a top Billboard honor

As Romper revealed, Swift has won more Billboard Music Awards than any other artist with a total of 21 awards. That said, she could be forced to pass on the title to Rihanna if the artist wins 10 more during tonight’s event.

When was Taylor Swift last seen?

Swift isn’t expected to make many appearances in 2017 but she was recently seen in Nashville. After remaining unseen for several weeks, Swift visited her mother for Mother’s Day before quickly darting out of town on her private jet.

TMZ was first to share news of Swift’s visit to Nashville, revealing the artist was chauffeured around town in a black SUV. In photos, Swift was seen wearing a black button down top with white stripes and very short shorts. Meanwhile, her hair was up in a pony tail and appeared a bit darker than it had been months ago.
