Meredith Grey – Grey’s Anatomy

I know everybody wants to give Meredith Grey an award for being this super heroine who’s survived countless personal apocalypses, but she’s the actual worst. Don’t at me.

She might just be the most selfish person in the fictional universe, and I absolutely don’t understand why everyone revolves their lives around her and her current situation. The truth of the matter is that she really doesn’t give a shit about anybody’s feelings. I’m no psychologist, but Meredith might be a sociopath.

She is really good at emulating human emotion. She performs like a “good person” should, but at her core, she’s only got her own interests at heart. Take her relationship with Maggie. Poor, sweet Maggie. She’s so thirsty for a relationship with Meredith she’s willing to let her walk all over her. And Meredith talks to Amelia worse than I would talk to my worst enemy. I just don’t get it. Why are these people still friends with her?

Sure, she was all in love with Derek, and practically turned herself inside out to be with him, but that’s because she wanted him. Once she had him, she did all sorts of things that put him, and their marriage, in jeopardy.
