If you love Mamma Mia, get ready because the sequel is coming

For those of us with taste, we love the movie Mamma Mia and now we’re lucky enough to be getting a sequel to the ABBA hit musical!

Here we go again, Mamma Mia is coming back with a whole new spin! According to the Hollywood Reporter, the movie is set to come on in July of 2018. But that’s not all, the storyline for this sequel is quite a surprising one.

Well, to be fair, all we know is that it is both a prequel and a sequel. Meaning more lovely flashbacks! The downfall? We have to hear Pierce Brosnan sing some more. That’s right folks, most of the original cast is set to return. That means Colin Firth, Brosnan, Stellan, Amanda Seyfried and more. But most importantly, that means more Meryl Streep, Christine Baranski, and Julie Walters.

Now maybe it’s just me but this news has me so excited. Why? Because that movie is a gem. Not only is it fun to watch with an amazing cast recording, but it is also just about love and family. It’s about friends and their importance and, most of all, it’s about how amazing women are.

Plus if you don’t love a good ABBA song, you’re not a fun person. No really, go listen to “Dancing Queen” and try not to smile and sing along. It’s impossible. Their songs are just so catchy.

So what songs are we going to hear in this new movie? Well, we don’t know yet but we’ll learn soon enough and when we do, you know who is going to report it? Us here at Culturess because let’s be real, everyone wants news on Mamma Mia.
