Taylor Swift’s alleged stalker, Mohammed Jaffar, was indicted this week.
According to a new report, Jaffar has been loitering outside of the 27-year-old singer’s Tribeca apartment for three months.
On May 17, E! News confirmed Jaffar is currently being held on $20,000 bond as he awaits his June 12 court date.
As the outlet revealed, Jaffar is accused of showing up to Swift’s New York City apartment beginning in December of last year.
“At least once,” E! News noted, “[Jaffar] allegedly snuck onto the roof of her luxury building. Surveillance footage also showed the 29-year-old ringing the doorbell of her $20 million apartment for an hour straight.”
Mohammed Jaffar attempted to contact Taylor Swift on the phone
Not only did Jaffar reportedly show up to Swift’s apartment numerous times in recent months, he’s also accused of calling the singer’s management company a whopping 59 times. During the calls, Jaffar reportedly insisted that he speak to Swift.
“He was arrested March 6 on burglary and stalking charges,” E! News continued.
Jaffar’s attorney, Liz Beal, declined to comment on the issue to the outlet.
Taylor Swift may not have been home
While the report failed to address where Swift was during Jaffar’s attempts at reaching her, she could have been in England with her new boyfriend, Joe Alwyn. As The Sun revealed earlier this week, Swift has been staying at a rented home in North London as she continues to secretly date her rumored actor beau.
According to the report, Alywn is living in the area with his parents as he attempts to make a name for himself in Hollywood.
