Wonder Woman is all about empowering women and what it means to truly be a woman and for Mother’s Day, the film took it upon itself to celebrate moms.
Mother’s Day can be a hard day for some but Wonder Woman and their promotional team brought it upon themselves to help celebrate those mothers in the world who we should honor. After all, Diana has a pretty amazing mother in Hippolyta.
It all started with the Wonder Woman campaign for us to share why we believed our mother’s were best.
It was cute because according to Chris Pine, his mother is the “bestest.” The hashtag went on to include many stars and people all over the world praising the women in their lives. Including Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins posting about her own mother.
And the cast of Wonder Woman isn’t the only ones in the DC Extended Universe who love their mothers. Ray Fisher (or Cyborg if you will) also posted about the wonder women in his life on this very special day.
And of course I had to join in on the hashtag as well. Why? Because my mom is one of the most important people in my life and I wanted the world to know how special she is.
And these are just some of the few found in this amazing hashtag! So whether or not you participated, just look at all the love for women around the world.
