Has Taylor Swift And Selena Gomez’s Friendship ‘Fizzled Out’?

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez used to be the best friends but in recent months, they haven’t been seen together at all.

As rumors continue to swirl in regard to Swift’s upcoming new album, a new report suggests Swift’s friendship with the “Same Old Love” singer has fizzled out.

On May 11, Celebrity Dirty Laundry told readers things between Swift and Gomez took a turn for the worse when she began hanging out with her infamous girl squad, which consists of a number of female celebrities, including Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Blake Lively, Dakota Johnson, and Martha Hunt.

Since then, fans haven’t seen much of the women together, although they did go as one another’s date to the 2016 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

On Thursday, Celebrity Dirty Laundry pointed out that Gomez recently told Vogue magazine that she had cut back on the number of friends she allowed in her life and revealed she has just two famous friends included in her phone contacts.

Meanwhile, as the outlet continued, Swift “loves to show off her famous friends on social media” and that isn’t expected to change anytime soon.

Swift gave a shoutout to Gomez on Twitter last July, but the friends didn’t seem to spend any time celebrating Gomez’s big day together.

Since her shootout to Gomez, Swift has been focused on her upcoming new album and made few appearances on social media. That said, she did recently return to Instagram to support the Haim sisters.
