Rumor Alert: Taylor Swift Went Into Hiding After ‘Humiliating’ Tom Hiddleston Split

Taylor Swift has reportedly gone MIA and according to a new rumor, it isn’t because of her upcoming album.

Instead, claims a source, Swift is allegedly hiding after experiencing a “humiliating” breakup from Tom Hiddleston at the end of last summer.

“Taylor hasn’t returned texts or emails. It’s gotten weird,” a source said, according to a report by Radar Online on May 10.

She’s even reportedly been ignoring her closest friends, models Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss.

“[Gigi and Karlie] want to look Taylor in the eye, and ask why she’s being so standoffish,” the insider continued.

Taylor Swift is expected to release a new album later this year

For months, fans have been awaiting the singer’s new album but so far, she hasn’t revealed an exact date for the album’s potential release and the insider claims she may be distracted by her personal hardships.

“She claims to be taking a break, recording in Nashville and New York, but everyone knows she’s embarrassed and licking her wounds!” the source alleged.

Taylor Swift dated Tom Hiddleston for a few months last summer

Swift and Hiddleston were first seen together at the 2016 Met Gala in New York City but at the time, Swift was involved in a 15-month relationship with Calvin Harris. Then, in mid-June, following Swift and Harris’ split, she and the actor went public during an outing in Rhode Island, where she owns a home.

Throughout their relationship, Swift and Hiddleston were frequently photographed around the world and even allowed fans to see moments of their relationship on social media.
