Taylor Swift’s New Album Could Be Released This Fall

Taylor Swift could be nearing the end of her career hiatus as she prepares to release her sixth studio album.

According to a new report, the 27-year-old singer has been keeping to herself in recent months and will likely continue to do so until she is ready to promote the upcoming album.

“She was trying to keep herself out of the media,” a Swift insider explained to Us Weekly on May 10.

Swift hasn’t yet announced when her new album will be revealed but the magazine’s insider said fans could hear new music as early as this fall.

“Taylor’s been quietly recording new music for a couple of months,” said another source. “She’s aiming to release an album this fall.”

As for where they singer has been spending her time in recent months, the source claimed she’s avoided big studios in Nashville, New York, L.A. and London as she continues to go under the radar.

Has Taylor Swift returned to country?

While there have been rumors claiming Swift could return to her country roots, the Us Weekly source said otherwise.

“She’s continuing down the pop route because 1989 was a huge success and fans really gravitated toward that album. She knows there’s a demand for a new album and has really started focusing on making that happen for fans. She’s just excited to get back out there.”

Ed Sheeran previously spoke of Taylor Swift’s new album

Months ago, Ed Sheeran, who has been close to Taylor Swift for years, spoke to BBC about his friend’s upcoming tracks.

“Taylor [Swift] isn’t going to be releasing until probably the end of this year — Christmas is the smartest time to release because that’s when everyone buys records,” he said, according to a report by Entertainment Weekly.
