Taylor Swift’s Nightmare Comes True? Calvin Harris And Katy Perry Team Up For New Song

Taylor Swift’s nemesis, Katy Perry, is teaming up with her former boyfriend, Calvin Harris, for what may become an “epic duet.”

According to a new report, Perry and Harris recently hit the studio together and in addition to their work on the upcoming track, they allegedly bonded over their common enemy, which is Swift.

“Two of the biggest artists in the world were going to work together eventually, even if they didn’t have the bond that is Taylor,” a source told Hollywood Life on May 9. “But let’s just say that it made things that much easier to start talking and to get together for the song. It pretty much gave them an instant camaraderie to talk about their issues with her.”

Katy Perry and Calvin Harris have interacted before

As Hollywood Life revealed, Harris first gave Perry a shoutout in 2016 after he and Swift suddenly parted ways after 15 months of dating.

“I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it,” he tweeted.

In response, Perry shared a meme, which read, “He said it, not me.”

Perry also said that time was the ultimate truth teller.

After being set up by mutual friend Ellie Goulding at the 2015 Brit Awards, Swift and Harris embarked on a 15-month romance which ended abruptly last May. Then, weeks later, after hitting it off at the Met Gala in New York City, Swift went public with actor Tom Hiddleston, who she continued to date for about three months.
