Is Taylor Swift A Fan Of Selena Gomez’s Romance With The Weeknd?

Taylor Swift didn’t hesitate to express her disapproval of Selena Gomez’s past relationship with Justin Bieber, but when it comes to Gomez’s new romance with The Weeknd, she is reportedly on board.

Gomez and The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, have been dating publicly since January and as their relationship heats up, fans are wondering if Swift has had an opportunity to spend time with the new couple.

Although its hard to say whether or not Swift has met her longtime friend’s new man, a report earlier this year claimed Swift was supporting Gomez’s new romance.

“Taylor supported Selena even when she was with [Justin Bieber] and she wasn’t comfortable with that relationship. And she’s also supporting her friend while she is with The Weeknd,” a source explained to Hollywood Life.

As fans of Swift well know, The Weeknd’s former girlfriend, Bella Hadid, is the sister of one of Swift’s closest friends: Gigi Hadid. However, despite allegations of breaking “girl code,” Gomez did no such thing as she and Hadid were never close and Swift doesn’t want any tension between them.

In addition to their many outings around the work, including trips to France, Canada, and Amsterdam, Gomez has supported her boyfriend during a number of his Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour shows.

Most recently, Gomez was seen in the VIP area at Tesfaye’s Los Angeles show.

“She arrived right before he started performing,” an onlooker told PEOPLE Magazine of Gomez. “Selena was dancing it up and singing along to all of The Weeknd’s songs, including his hit, ‘Starboy.’ ”
