Taylor Swift may be secretly spending time in New York City.

Following reports claiming the singer is currently working on her new album in Nashville, Tennessee, Gigi Hadid has turned up at her apartment.

On May 5, Hollywood Life told readers that Hadid, 22, was photographed outside of Swift’s home, possibly confirming that she was inside, on Thursday night.

“Could that mean [Taylor]’s spending time in NYC?!” the outlet asked readers. “In the pics, Gigi rocked plaid, green pants with a matching jacket and sheer shirt, while carrying a Polaroid camera with her as she entered the building. [Taylor]’s squad is known for taking Polaroid photos, so maybe they got together for a girls’ night and snapped some shots?!”

Taylor Swift hasn’t been seen publicly since February

Swift has made a few appearances on social media in recent months but she hasn’t been photographed publicly since her Super Bowl concert in Houston in early February.

As Hollywood Life pointed out, Swift could be spending time at her New York City apartment, but because she hasn’t been photographed, the idea seems unlikely. After all, photographers are often outside of the home and would have surely seen her and photographed her if she had been there in recent weeks.

Although Swift hasn’t yet officially confirmed when she will be releasing new music, her friend Ed Sheeran spoke to the BBC earlier this year and said the complication would likely hit stores around Christmastime.
