Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD season 4 episode 20 synopsis: “Farewell, Cruel World!”

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD looks to be leaving the Framework in the next few episodes. Check out this week’s official synopsis.

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD seems to have found its groove in this fourth season. They split up the twenty-odd episodes into three different story arcs, and the show seems to have worked for the better.

This final arc, Agents of Hydra, is all sorts of fantastic. And maybe that’s just the fan in me, happy to see old characters come back to life with fun little twists. We have the Grant Ward the real world should have given us. There’s Triplett, alive and well and still talking about the Howling Commandos.

And can I continue to ask for my Bobbi and Hunter cameo? Their departure may sting the hardest, what with their spinoff show not even getting a pilot order (and that’s after they had already cast them off).

Anyway, I digress. Here’s this week’s official synopsis, courtesy of ABC:

"The clock is ticking for Daisy and Simmons to get the team out of the Framework, but not everyone is ready and willing to leave."

That doesn’t bode well. You have to think Coulson will want to leave, as his brain is already weirdly programmed and he’ll want to be normal again. Mack won’t want to leave his daughter. Ward knows he’s not going to go anywhere.

May may want to leave, as she’s privy to the atrocities Hydra has done. Fitz won’t want to leave unless it’s with Ophelia/Madame Hydra/Aida. Can they take Triplett back with them? Please tell me they can take Tripp back with them. Agents of SHIELD needs more of his swagger and casual jokes.
