Chappelle’s Show – Hulu

If you were alive in the early 2000s, then you probably were influenced by Dave Chappelle and his wildly popular sketch comedy show, Chappelle’s Show. We all had that one friend that incessantly quoted the show, reenacted the skits, and talked in character all the time. It was everywhere.

But Chappelle’s Show deserved all the buzz it got. Not only was it wildly funny and insightful, but its political satire was super savvy.  It was highly controversial because of it’s racial commentary, but you don’t ever feel like you’re eating your veggies.

You can thank Chappelle’s Show for such comedy guys as “A Moment in the Life of Lil Jon,” “Charlie Murphy’s True Hollywood Stories” and the very funny, “Racial Draft.”

Based on the stand up comedy of Dave Chappelle, the show is a complete product of Chappelle’s wit and clever perception of the world. You can watch the full first two seasons on Hulu, and a truncated third season called “The Lost Episodes.” Rolling Stone ranked it #64 on their list of “TV’s Top 100 Shows” and it also placed at #26 on Entertainment Weekly‘s “New TV Classics” list.

Starring: Dave Chappelle, Charlie Murphy
