Friends – Netflix
You probably don’t really need me to talk you into bingeing Friends. If you’re like most other Americans, then you’ve probably already seen every episode a million times. But, like a favorite blanket when you’re sick, or a worn in pair of sneakers, Friends is a great comfort. It can be soothing in a way that not a lot of other shows are.
Following the lives of five friends living in New York City, Friends set the precedent for shows about friendships, young people, and coming of age. Seriously, this show pretty much reinvented the sitcom in its time. Monica, Chandler, Ross, Rachel, Joey and Phoebe, are among the most iconic characters of our time.
It’s no wonder this show is on constant syndication. At any given moment, you can find an episode of Friends airing on any given channel. If you want to start from the beginning, you can check into the series on Netflix, and just watch as our favorite friends grow and involve into adults.
If you’ve seen the show as many times I have, you can just pick and choose an episode based on your mood, or the type of pep talk you need for the day. It’s also a good thing that the episodes are labeled so handily with descriptive titles.
Starring: Courtney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc
