40 binge-worthy TV shows: Watch them all right now because who needs sleep

Preacher – Hulu
If you blinked, you might have missed this show when it aired on AMC last year. But Preacher is definitely worth a revisit. It’s weird and unexpected, and it will constantly leaving you scratching your head, wondering, “What did I just watch?”
Based on the graphic novel of the same name, it’s about a former outlaw, Jesse Custer, turned clergy man, who returns to his father’s church in his hometown to make peace with his dodgy past. Jesse’s goodwill mission takes a turn for the supernatural when his body is overcome with some sort of possession and he inherits superpowers.
He is joined by his former partner and crime and ex-lover, Tulip, played by the unstoppable force that is Ruth Negga. Also joining his little squad is Cassidy, another otherworldly creature. They are up against all sorts of struggles in the fight for good over evil, and they are just as much hilarious as they are badass.
Come for the action and fighting, but stay for the whimsical characters and insane chemistry between them. It’s from the same folks that brought you Breaking Bad, and Seth Rogen even has a producing credit. It’s a solid way to spend a whole night in.
