Not the White House Correspondents Dinner was Quite the Evening for Samantha Bee

We love Samantha Bee and her event called the Not White House Correspondents Dinner was pretty jam-packed with amazing people and jokes.

Samantha Bee has been doing an incredible job of tackling the hard hitting issues in this country past the election. So when Trump decided to not show up to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Samantha took it upon herself to make a Not the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Now beware, some of these clips swear because it was a special event but when CJ Cregg drops an f-bomb, you better be listening.

So Sam pulled out all the stops for the event. From having Peaches as her musical guest and CJ doing the cold open, that was just the beginning!

Here she has a whole amazing group of comedians roasting Trump. From Patton Oswalt to Rhea Butcher and Cameron Esposito, these comedians bring a dark humor to the President, while also reminding us just how much of a child he can be.

And then to top of an amazing night filled with wonderful jokes and great jabs, Samantha truly showed her powers by getting the 43rd President of the United States to stop by. While it wasn’t the real George W. Bush, it was our favorite George W. Bush as Will Ferrell stepped out as the president once more.

Overall the night was moving and funny and inspiring. Sam expressed her fears and what was happening in our world but brought the news to us with jokes and laughter and glimpses of our past that we all enjoy. And really, it was a wonderful moment for us all.
