Warwick Davis and his Strange Competition Between Fandoms

It seems as if Warwick Davis likes to pin his fandoms against each other and it was made ever clear at the celebrations this year.

Warwick Davis is a lucky son of a gun. Why? Well, he is in two major fandoms! From playing Professor Flitwick and Griphook to playing Wicket W. Warrick in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, he is living all our dreams.

So what does Warwick like to do at celebrations? Well, it seems like he likes to point out which fandom he likes better. Now, to be fair, I didn’t get to see his reactions to the Star Wars Celebration that happened this past Easter weekend.

But I did watch all of the Harry Potter Celebration and I saw how he continually talked about Star Wars. And really, if there’s one thing that makes fans angry, it is someone talking about their fandom and saying it is less important than another.

Not that we think Warwick feels that way, just that he constantly talked about Star Wars at the Harry Potter Celebration. Maybe because it was fresh from the death of Carrie Fisher or because Star Wars is really popular again right now.

Whatever his reasoning, it begs the question: Does Warwick Davis enjoy Harry Potter? He’s never said anything against the series, it just seems very clear which one he prefers. But don’t worry, Warwick. You can be a fan of both! Just look at me! I have both Harry Potter and Star Wars tattoos and if you asked me which I liked better, I’d probably have a breakdown trying to decide.

So what’s your game, Warwick? We love you either way but really, what’s your favorite? Star Wars or Harry Potter? We need to know!
