Who Would You Cast as Your Favorite Character: James Potter

So we don’t get to see too much of James Potter in the films but still, who would your dream casting have been if you had the choice?

James Potter was not featured much in the movies but he definitely has the most fan casting I’ve seen on the internet. And everyone is pretty much unanimous in who they think should play a younger James Potter.

After all, most of us love James and Lily Potter and wish we could have seen more of them in the film series. But our problem is that the series is about their son after they died. Sucks for us fans, right?

The problem is, the actor in question is now too old to play him. Actually every version of James has been too old because he was supposed to be 21 years old when he sacrificed himself for his family.

Aaron Taylor Johnson is pretty much everyone’s choice to play James and he isn’t too far off in age from what James is supposed to be. He’s currently 26 which means he could still pull off a James that was married to Lily already before Voldemort came to Godric’s Hollow.

And I mean I would personally be pretty onboard. Especially if that meant getting a younger Sirius Black. Really we just want a Marauder’s series and most fans are not quiet about it. (Okay to be fair I’m the one who really isn’t quiet about it and J.K Rowling just doesn’t listen.)
