Emma Watson Was Nominated for MTV Awards and Changed the Game

For most award shows, there is a best actor and best actress category but this year, MTV awards the nominee Emma Watson in their new categories.

The new MTV awards categories has honored Emma Watson with a nomination for Best Actor in a Movie. It’s a new, great thing the awards are doing because there isn’t any constriction based on gender.

Basically whoever had the best performance gets recognized. It’s not about making sure there are a certain amount of nominees in each category anymore. If you had a great performance, then you’ll be there competing against both men and women.

On May 7th you can watch the ceremony that will have all your favorite actors there! You can see the two categories that Emma herself are nominated! Beauty and the Beast was nominated for four categories overall!

Honestly, I think she could win. At least her and Dan Stevens could win for their kiss in Beauty and the Beast. If not, she should at least win for Best Actor because playing Belle isn’t really an easy feat. Not when fans of the movie had been waiting for the live-action film to be terrible.
