Crow’s extremities
This one might seem kind of weird to notice. But in the first couple minutes of the first episode, as Jonah reintroduces us to the show and what has changed since he was abducted two months prior, everything is explained.
So we’ll start with the changes to Crow. And what’s funny is that in that explainer from Jonah, he tells Crow that he hasn’t upgraded anything of his, because he’s perfect just the way he is. “I knew it!” Crow exclaims with childish glee.
But that’s not necessarily true! In fact, he seems to have gotten a nice oil change. His movements are much smoother than before and he uses his arms a lot more in both the Host segments and in the theater. He now can get in on all the fun action.
You actually see Crow’s legs, too! Offhand I can only recall seeing them in a skit during Girl in Gold Boots, but I’m sure there’s more examples out there. Already in the reboot, there’s a moment where he and Servo walk across the seats to try to get to something onscreen. It’s cool, but also kind of weird, since we’re so used to just seeing them from the waist up.
