Veronica Lodge – Riverdale

Anytime a new girl breezes into a small town from the big city, she’s always portrayed as having a bit of an edge. Veronica is no exception. Half downtown hottie, half socialite, Veronica breezes into the sleepy town of Riverdale, and the folks don’t know what to make of her. Always polished and composed, Veronica is far too cool for her schoolmates, but she has way too much class to ever let them feel that way.

The first time we meet her, she comes sauntering into the local diner, wearing an all black cape and gloves. She’s such a stark contrast to the all-American town folks, but she is a vision. Conjuring images of Jenn Lindley and Blair Waldorf, Veronica’s style can best be described as edgy Upper East Side.

Dressing in mostly dark neutrals and rich jewel tones, it’s nothing for Veronica to pair pearls with leather. All this culminates in vibe screams, “Don’t mess with me, people.” Everybody is just tad bit scared of her, but in a really good way because she gets stuff done. She takes no nonsense, suffers no fools, and will generally run your life if you need her to. And most of these folks desperately need her to do just that.
