Marcia Clark – The People Vs. OJ Simpson

Don’t let the dour expression fool you, Marcia Clark would make an excellent best friend. It’s definitely handy to have a lawyer in your life. You never know when you’re going to need to lawyer up when you get in a pinch. But Marcia isn’t your run of the mill attorney, and she’s going to fight for you until her last breath. She’s likely to be your biggest advocate, and will never, ever give up, even if you’re a lost cause.

Lest we forget, Marcia Clark is a real woman, and not the character portrayed by Sarah Paulson on the FX hit, The People Vs. OJ Simpson. That being said, from what I saw of the character, and Marcia’s extensive press tour when the show was at the height of its popularity, I need this woman in my life. She is brilliant, quick, resilient, and is just an all around badass.

I’m a firm believer that you should surround yourself with women worthy of your admiration. It’s healthy to look up to someone, and Marcia seems like she would constantly impress and awe me. I want to be as successful in my career as Marcia is, I want to be able to laugh at myself the way she does, and I certainly want to leave a legacy of integrity and morality, just like she is.
