Blake Shelton – The Voice
Blake Shelton isn’t technically a character on TV, but he certainly is a character I’d like to get to know. He’s just a hell of a lot of fun, and I want to spend the weekend partying with him. Since he really is just a good ol’ boy with a little bit of success, you really could take him anywhere and he would thrive.
The Voice feels like one big party, and Blake is totally the life of that party. All the good-natured (and sometimes not so good natured) teasing and competing keeps the atmosphere light, and Blake is always handy with a joke.
I would bring him with me everywhere I went, and I would make sure he brings his guitar. Being his bestie would mean I would always invited to the best parties, because I’d always have him in tow. When things get dull, he could initiate a drinking game, pick a fun tune on the guitar, and regale us with wacky stories about his exploits. He seems like a delight, and one I want to get to know a lot better.
