In her later years of fame, Maisie Williams has tried to branch out from the Game of Thrones role that made her famous. Of course, nothing will match the popularity of Arya Stark (okay, maybe Needle), but if Williams has proved anything from her various roles and presence on the Internet, it’s that she’s pretty cool.
She’s a little edgy and as eccentric as anybody can be without alienating entire subcultures of humanity. If she played Batgirl, we’d get the chance to meet the edgiest version of her New 52 depiction. And by that, I mean, Maisie Williams can rock a pair of yellow boots with the rest of them.
Okay, so those aren’t entirely yellow, and she represents Converse now. There’d be no boot issues with her Batgirl … well, maybe the villains would have some. But you get it.
Arguably, Maisie Williams is one of the best reasons to watch Game of Thrones. And I’m sure she’d bring that same spark to the DCEU where she’d be able to join another Game of Thrones alum, Jason Momoa. #KhalDrogoAndAryaFTW
