25 reasons why Ben Wyatt from Parks and Recreation is the best

3. High Ben

This is purely because this is one of my favorite episodes on Parks and Recreation. Ben and Leslie go back to Partridge because they think Ben is getting the key to the city. When he gets to his sisters, he ends up with kidney stones and has to go to the hospital.

There, he is high on morphine and ends up crying over The Price is Right. Really, you can’t make this up. It’s some of the best television to ever exist. The best moment, and still one of my all time favorite television moments, came when Ben went to see the current mayor (J.K Simons).

What did he do whilst high there? Well, he tried to feed a bronze eagle. When Leslie asked what he was doing he responded with “I’m feeding your eagle. He’s starving.”

Honestly, it is just one of the best moments and it is so dumb but again, it shows us a side of Ben we had never seen before. He was always so put together or anxious (without there really being an in between) and seeing him drugged out of his mind on pain meds was a funny thing for the audience to enjoy.
