25 reasons why Ben Wyatt from Parks and Recreation is the best

10. Paris

This one has a special place in my heart. When Parks and Recreation ended, I wanted to honor my favorite show in a way so I got my favorite quote from it on my back as a tattoo. The quote?

“In times of stress or moments of transition, sometimes it can feel like the whole world is closing in on you. When that happens, you should close your eyes, take a deep breath, listen to the people that love you when they give you advice, and remember what really matters. And if you have the ability to go to Paris, by all means, go to Paris.”

Now I didn’t get the how quote, obviously, but the entire situation was possible because Ben decided to take Leslie to Paris to make up for the fact that she was recalled from the city council. He wanted to make her happy when she felt like the world was closing in on her.

And that truly shows how much Ben Wyatt loves his wife and is willing to do anything for her. He just wanted her to be happy and the Paris episode really just made us love Ben even more. And really, any show that takes people to Paris is awesome.
