Piper and Alex

Jail is never romantic. No matter how many secret moments you steal in the shower, or how many times you sneak off to the library, jail is about the least sexy place in the world. However, Alex and Piper’s inevitably toxic relationship still found a way.

We don’t know much about their relationship before they were sent to Lichfield, but anything that results in jail time is awful for you, hands down. Especially with these two. They used their legal leverage to exact revenge on each other, tattling on one thing or another, to extent the other’s jail stay.

In real life, this would be an unforgivable series of events – because, you know, jail is the worst – but it doesn’t seem like it makes much of a difference to them. They break up, get mad, get revenge, and then get back together. Even without the added complication of jail, this is a very toxic cycle.

This doesn’t even account for the cheating. So much cheating. They cheat on each other, cheat on their partners with each other, and just generally spit in the face of monogamy. To make matters worse, they’re often locked up in the same place and can’t escape. Can you imagine having to see your ex everyday, without fail?
