20. She has strong people backing her

No one wants to be alone all the time. It’s always nice to have someone who you know will stick by your side through thick and thin. Luckily for Dany, she has plenty of people standing by her at all times.

First off, we have the newly appointed Hand of the Queen Tyrion Lannister. We knew he would be a perfect fit for Dany, especially when talk of defeating another Lannister came up. He’s got wit and cunning to convey his council to the queen, and can stand up to her (though his stature is quite small). There’s also Grey Worm, who was chosen by the Unsullied themselves as the bravest of all 8,000 fighters. By the way he wields a spear, it seems as though he’s untouchable in any aspect of fighting. Missandei, the most loyal lady on Dany’s bench came to respect her queen right away. That feeling and sentiment was more than mutual. And although he was exiled for his betrayal, Ser Jorah displayed such loyalty for his queen, she was able to let him back into her good graces.

And as always, we have to shout out one of Westeros’ most badass, Ser Barristan Selmy. His council and swordfighting protected Dany in a way that may never be seen again.

All the people Dany surrounds herself with have great admiration for her and a glowing mutual respect. She takes care of her people, and realizes that climbing the ladder towards unflinching power is much easier if someone is there either guiding your way, or providing a boost up when needed.
