Honey Crepe

Mostly, this is a recipe for crepes, which are a delicious shell in which you can enjoy any number of dishes from fruit and yogurt to eggs and veggies. Honey crepes, while incredibly simple in reality (they’re a pain to make in Breath of the Wild!), are one of the tastiest ways to eat a crepe.

Breath of the Wild ingredients:

  • Cane Sugar
  • Tabantha Wheat
  • Courser Bee Honey
  • Fresh Milk
  • Bird Egg

Our ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Softened butter, for the filling
  • Honey

  1. Combine the milk, cream, flour, eggs, sugar, melted butter, and salt together in a large bowl until the mixture is smooth. Let sit while you heat a skillet over medium heat. Spray with cooking spray and keep the spray on-hand as you cook.
  2. Carefully pour a ladle full of batter into the skillet. Pour slowly, working the dough around the skillet until a thin layer of dough covers the entire bottom of the skillet. Let cook for 30-45 seconds, then gently lift the edges of the crepe with the spatula and flip.
  3. Cook on the other side for 20-30 seconds, then remove from the skillet onto a plate. Spray with cooking spray again before making the next crepe.
  4. With the crepe still warm, spread the inside with softened butter and fold in half, then in half again. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with powdered sugar, if you like.
  5. You can fill the crepes with scrambled eggs, fruit and yogurt, or any number of things! The recipe makes a lot, so enjoy many different ways (the honey’s the best).
