He’s been around throughout most of our favorite childhood movies. Remember watching Donnie Darko for the first time and falling in love with that weird boy? Well, that’s why Jake Gyllenhaal has slowly become the boyfriend all of us dreamed we had.

Basically, we’re all in love with him. Not only is he built and beautiful but he is definitely one of the most charming actors out there. Don’t believe us? Well just watch him singing “A Whole New World” with Sean Hayes and James Corden at the Tony awards. You’ll definitely love him after this impromptu performance between commercials.

And he just continues to be so adorable in all his interviews. He once did Fallon to help promote Sunday in the Park with George and he and Jimmy had a very adorable bit about their ‘bromance’ throughout it.

Just everything that he does tends to be extremely charming. Even if you mention him to people, they instantly talk about his charm in interviews and just how interesting he seems to be. And really, it helps that he is extremely good looking. Like really, staring at Jake Gyllenhaal is a gift to us all and it just is an added bonus that he is the king of charm as well.
