32. Oscar Isaac
The first thing people love to do with Oscar Isaac is to insult him. Because he’s just too charming for everyone and it physically hurts to see him and how brilliant he is. From him daring to sing “Baby It’s Cold Outside” with Daisy Ridley to his lovely portrayal of tortured musician Llewyn Davis in Inside Llewlyn Davis, he’s just not fair.
Actors need to learn to be fair to fans. And Oscar is definitely not fair to his fans at all. Not in the sense of meeting them, in the sense of cutting us a break with how charming and brilliant you tend to be. It hurts. We just need to breathe for a little bit.
And it seems like Oscar is constantly giving us more and more and we love him for it but also, again, cut us some slack. It’s hard to function as people when we are constantly in love with Oscar Isaac and his work.
I’d tell you all to go listen to him sing but then you’d be lost like me in a world of Oscar Isaac’s eyes. And he’s just amazing in general. So please, Oscar, give us a break. You’re just too charming.
