For someone who is as talented as Mahershala Ali, he sure does get a lot of focus on his name. Which sucks and any other actor would tell people to stop and focus on his groundbreaking work. But not Mahershala. He takes it all in his stride and is one of the most charming actors we have.

Mahershala is now an Oscar winner for his work in Moonlight and it was well deserved. He was incredible in the film and continues to show his prowess as an actor. But he’s also fun to watch in interviews for his sense of humor.

The internet got quite angry when Jimmy Kimmel made fun of his name at the Oscars. But Mahershala was charming, he smiled, and let it roll off his back. And to fans, that is truly something special. He didn’t let it phase him and it made him a better person.

So if you haven’t seen Moonlight or Hidden Figures or any of his work, you really should. He’s a force to be reckoned with and we’re lucky to be seeing his rise to fame. And really, it’s going to be a good run to see because Mahershala Ali is absolutely amazing.
