7.  Scott Summers

Jean Grey’s true love interest (if you think that way) was Scott Summers. For me, it was always Wolverine but you know, sometimes I’m wrong in who I ship. So for most, they love Jean and Scott. Which is fine but we’re here to talk about the glory that is Scott Summers.

Cyclops, if you’re close, is a mutant with quite an inconvenient power. His eyes burn things up, essentially. But that doesn’t deter us from loving him. Played by the ever attractive James Marsden, like many of his other characters, he kind of ends up with the girl but not really.

Besides the ins and outs of their relationship, Scott is just a very devoted boyfriend. He wants to protect Jean but he also knows her powers and what she is capable of. He doesn’t stand in her way and he lets her do whatever is necessary to help Professor X and the mutants in the war.

And they even have a lovely storyline in X-Men: Apocalypse that truly made fans love Jean and Scott once more. So Scott Summers, the beautiful boy with the killer eyes, is on our list for superhero boyfriends we absolutely love with our whole hearts.
