Seth Meyers vs Stephen Colbert: The Race to Russia

We’re learning a lot about the FBI case against Russia and Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert broke down what happened in the hearings.

The FBI admitted that they were looking into Russian involvement in the election and Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert took it on. Mainly they were shaming Trump because he was tweeting lies about the hearing with Comey while the hearing was still happening.

And Seth does a great job of showing how insane our government has gotten. There is an entire part of the hearing where they try and dumb down the Putin involvement in the election. But then the man who tried to dumb down said involvement lost the train of thought he had for his own analogy so Comey had to explain his own point to him.

That’s not scary at all. Our own government officials can’t even explain a simple football analogy without getting confused.

“Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street? You can’t. It’s gone.” While Seth talked about it last week, Colbert started by covering the budget that Trump proposed. The conservative Stephen Colbert makes an appearance and he continued to talk about the budget.

While this was a little late, since it was covered on Late Night with Seth Meyers last week, it still was a fun segment. Especially when Stephen came out with a Captain America shield and a sword.

Stephen may have been behind on the reporting but it still was a great take down of the Trump budget cuts.

As per usual, continue to watch both of these men take on the president. They’re doing an amazing job and giving us the facts we need to know and they’re doing it with flair.
