Production of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them 2 Is Ready to Begin

Phenomenal news Fantastic Beasts fans. The sequel is set to start filming soon, and we have all the details on where they are filming.

The Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them train can’t stop, won’t stop. And we are so happy for it. News has finally broken that production of the second of five movies is set to start. The Independent is reporting that filming will begin August 2017. I wouldn’t book any flights to New York in hopes to see Newt or any of his beasts. Reports have also surfaced that filming will take place in Europe, specifically the UK and Paris, France.

Fantastic Beasts 2 is also adding a young Albus Dumbledore. This essentially merges the Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter franchises. Eddie Redmayne will be back as Newt Scamander with Katharine Waterston (Porpentina “Tina” Goldstein), Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski), Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein) and Zoe Kravitz (Leta Lestrange). Johnny Depp will reprise his role as the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald. Fingers crossed for a magical meeting between enemies Greenwald and Dumbledore.
