Legion is the new hit show on FX and the network has now given it a second season meaning we’ll get to explore the mind of David Haller even further!

The new FX show Legion has been dazzling audiences for six weeks now. But it seems like the show will have an even longer life! The show, based on a comic from the X-Men series, follows David Haller.

Diagnosed a schizophrenic, David believes that everything he thinks he can do is in his mind. Surprising to him, he’s actually a mutant. As the show goes on we learn more about his life and background but we won’t just have the first season.

Today, FX put out a statement that they would be renewing Legion for a second season! Star Dan Stevens, who is currently promoting his film Beauty and the Beast took to Instagram to share his excitement on the news.

The show, which has a major spoiler that no one is really talking about, has a Charles Xavier like character in Jean Smart’s Melanie Bird. It is just a dark feel to the X-Men world we already know and it is introducing us to new characters.

And it truly gives its audience a run for its money with trying to figure out what is going on. But now we’ll just have to wait and see if the show tells us what is real and what is in David’s mind when season 2 of the show rolls around! Either way, we’re excited!
